History and Accomplishments
For the past 4 years, No Limits Media has been supported by the Joukowsky Family Foundation, as well as receiving grants from the Boston Foundation, the JM Foundation and from some of our production partners. NLM also received Joukowsky grants to support the UN Photo Exhibition events in March, 2005. Due to their generous support of the exhibition, we were able to leverage substantial matching grants from other major philanthropies including the Fireman Trust, The Starr Foundation, the Paralympics Committee, Hampshire College, Spaulding Hospital and more. On top of that, NLM has managed to broadcast its long awaited pilot program on WCVB in Boston, produce tapes promoting people with disabilities using the parks and develop truly revolutionary plans for creating a positive presence for our target population on the web. By revealing this community frustration No limits Media has come to recognize its mission of changing the face of disability will accomplished by giving voice to the unique drama, humor, human reality of disability as a natural life condition through this unique opportunity to integrate existing skills with Video production and cutting-edge Internet technology.
